Console Pianos

A slightly larger version of vertical piano, the console piano is no longer in length than a spinet, but four to seven inches taller. At 40 to 43 inches this is the the mid-sized vertical piano. The additional height is due to longer strings and a larger soundboard which resonate a larger sound than the spinet. This is a very popular piano for the average price range of $1500 or less and it is more than adequate for most home pianos and practice pianos.
